PRIVACY POLICY - Definition
Personal data: personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to that person.

DATA COLLECTED
We collect User data to provide the services they expect when connecting to the site and to best execute the services for which they have chosen us.

We review publicly available social media and websites to gain a better understanding of what people are saying about us, our products, technologies, and services, and to assist customers who prefer to contact us via this medium.
Information collected on social media and websites, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, sometimes includes personal data posted online and made publicly available. We ensure that any information used is correctly credited to its source or rendered anonymous.
These websites and social networks generally have their own privacy policies explaining how they use and share your personal data. You should carefully review these privacy policies before using these sites to ensure you agree with how your personal data is collected and shared.
In addition, certain data is collected automatically as a result of User actions on the site (see the paragraph regarding cookies).
PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
The personal data we collect during the provision of services or benefits is necessary for the performance of contracts concluded with the User, or to enable us to pursue our legitimate interests while respecting the User's rights. Certain data may also be processed based on the collection of the User's consent.
Data collected during the use of the site and access to services is processed to enable access to resources published on the site, user identification, service improvement, the development of audience and traffic statistics, the processing of requests and complaints from customers and prospects, and the distribution of editorial content as well as commercial prospecting operations.

DATA RECIPIENTS
The personal data collected is intended for Synneo's sales, marketing, and accounting departments. It may be transmitted to our subcontracting companies, which we may call upon in the context of executing our contracts and services.
In this framework, personal data may be transferred to a country that is either a member or non-member of the European Union. We implement safeguards to ensure the protection and security of this data, in compliance with regulations.
We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties for marketing purposes without the express consent of the Users.
Outside of these scenarios, the disclosure of personal data to third parties may only occur in the following cases:

DATA RETENTION PERIOD
To comply with legal obligations or to have the necessary elements to assert our rights, we may archive data under the conditions provided for by regulations.
Accordingly, personal data collected by Synneo relating to the identity and contact details of its Users are archived for a maximum period of 3 (three) years after the termination of contractual relations for Client Users, or from the date of collection by the data controller or the last contact from a Prospect User for data relating to the latter.
The termination of contractual relations is defined as the express termination of the contract by the User.
USER RIGHTS
In accordance with regulations, the User has the right to access and rectify personal data concerning them, allowing them to have data that is inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, outdated, or whose collection, use, communication, or storage is prohibited, rectified, completed, updated, or erased.
The User also has the right to request the limitation of processing and to object to the processing of their personal data for legitimate reasons. Furthermore, the User may provide instructions regarding the disposal of their personal data in the event of death.
Where applicable, the User may request the portability of their data, or, where processing is based on consent, withdraw their consent at any time.

The User can unsubscribe from the Synneo newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe links included in each of these emails.
